Clear Aligners Cost in the UAE

How Much Do Clear Aligners Cost in the UAE?

BASMA clear aligners in the UAE cost from AED 7,795 to AED 12,870 as a one-time payment, depending on your case category. You can also split the cost with Tabby, from AED 1,015 a month. Your category is set after your 3D scan, once our orthodontists have assessed your teeth, so you know your exact price before you commit to anything.

What's included in the BASMA price?

Your BASMA price covers your full treatment, from first aligner to first retainer:

  • All your aligners, custom-made for your teeth
  • A free retainer to help hold your new smile in place
  • All clinic visits in your treatment plan
  • Remote monitoring through the BASMA app, with weekly progress check-ins
  • Refinements, if you're eligible under the BASMA Smile Guarantee
  • Care team support for all your questions, from your first aligner to your retainer

When you compare aligner prices, the number on its own doesn't tell you much. What matters is what it covers, and who is looking after you between appointments.

How much does each treatment category cost?

The BASMA invisible braces treatment is priced by case category: Light, Medium, Medium+ and Complex. You don't need to work out your category yourself. Our orthodontists set it after your 3D scan appointment, based on how complex your case is.

How can you pay for clear aligners in the UAE?

You can pay for BASMA treatment in the UAE in two ways:

  • One-time payment by Visa, Mastercard or Apple Pay
  • Monthly installments with Tabby: pay in 4 or 7 monthly payments

All payments are made securely online. Our team can talk you through the options during your tele-consultation.

Do clear aligners cost the same in all the emirates?

Yes. BASMA prices are the same across all the emirates, so your treatment costs the same wherever you are in the UAE.

  • Dubai: book your consultation and 3D scan at any of our partner clinics across Dubai, so you can choose the one closest to your home or work.
  • Abu Dhabi: visit our Abu Dhabi partner clinic for your consultation and in-clinic appointments.
  • Sharjah: visit our Sharjah partner clinic for your consultation and in-clinic appointments, and start treatment close to home.
  • Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain: our Dubai and Sharjah partner clinics are a short drive away, so you can start treatment easily.

Because most of your check-ins happen through the BASMA app, you only visit the clinic when your treatment plan needs it. For most patients, that's around 3–4 visits across your whole treatment. If your case is more complex, you may need a few more.

How does BASMA treatment work?

Every BASMA treatment starts in a clinic:

  1. Free consultation and dental checkup at a BASMA clinic or partner clinic
  2. 3D scan and dental photos of your teeth
  3. 3D smile preview, so you can see your expected results before you commit
  4. Get your custom aligners, designed and made for your teeth
  5. App check-ins and progress tracking with your care team throughout treatment
  6. Clinic visits whenever your treatment plan needs them
  7. Your retainer, to help keep your results

Treatment takes an average of 6–9 months, though how long yours takes depends on your teeth. Aligners need to be worn 20–22 hours a day. Read more in How long do clear aligners take?

What should you check before choosing an aligner provider?

If you're comparing BASMA with another provider, look beyond the price. Ask:

  • What's included in the price? Retainers, refinements and follow-up visits aren't always part of the package.
  • Who designs your treatment, and where? Is your plan designed in-house, or sent out to a third party?
  • Where are your aligners made? Can the provider track the quality of every aligner?
  • What happens between appointments? Is someone checking your progress, or are you on your own until your next visit?
  • How quickly can issues be spotted? A loose fit or a tooth not tracking is easier to fix when it's caught early.

How is BASMA different from aligners at a dental clinic?

BASMA was founded in 2019 by orthodontist Dr. Cherif Massoud, who has treated patients with clear aligners for over a decade. Every BASMA treatment is designed in-house by our orthodontists, and your aligners are made in our own lab, so we can follow the quality of every aligner from design to delivery.

Our aligner models are 3D-printed in-house, a process featured by Formlabs, one of the world's leading dental 3D printer makers, in a case study. Our lab is one of the most advanced aligner labs in the region. It uses precision technology, including laser cutting, to finish each aligner.

Many clinic-based aligner treatments work differently. The treatment design is often outsourced, and the aligners are made in an external lab, where quality can't always be fully tracked. You may be handed a box of aligners and left to manage at home, with check-ups every few months, so issues can take longer to catch.

Are BASMA clear aligners right for you?

BASMA may be a good fit if you:

  • Want to straighten mild, moderate or complex orthodontic issues, such as crowding, spacing, protrusion or bite issues
  • Want discreet treatment that fits around work and daily life
  • Value close support and progress tracking between visits
  • Can commit to wearing your aligners 20–22 hours a day

BASMA may not be right for you if:

  • Our doctor finds you need a different type of treatment, which we'll tell you about honestly after your consultation.
  • You can't commit to wearing your aligners as prescribed

Suitability is always confirmed after your consultation and 3D scan.

Expert note

Clear aligners can treat many common orthodontic issues, but every case is different. Your category, treatment length and expected results can only be confirmed after a clinical assessment and 3D scan. Straighter teeth are healthier and can also be easier to keep clean.
